“Trust me, Wilbur. People are very gullible. They’ll believe anything they see in print.”
– E.B. White, Charlotte’s Web
Health Snark is about sorting fact from fiction in the many confusing health messages we receive in the media. It’s about busting myths and misinformation, and finding the often hidden nugget of truth in issues related to disease, prevention, and wellness. I seek to do this in a responsible way, researching topics and posting supportive evidence.
My name is Theresa Waldron, and I’m the creator and writer of Health Snark. I’ve been around awhile, writing health news for more than 20 years. I was an investigative journalist during the early years of HIV/AIDS, and I’ve won four awards in investigative journalism from the National Press Club.
